We are the world’s largest ship registry, and we know that the people behind the flag drive our success. We are currently seeking a Regional Compliance Manager to oversee our Northeast fleet, our Northwest Fleet, and our Southern fleet. In this highly autonomous, remote-based role, you will serve as our boots-on-the-ground technical expert, ensuring that vessels navigating one of these districts meet the highest international safety and security standards.

If you are a transitioning or veteran Coast Guard professional with deep knowledge of international maritime conventions, this is an opportunity to take ownership of fleet compliance, investigations, and safety in a globally impactful role.

  • Training & Development: Assist in developing and delivering compliance and inspection training to enhance staff proficiency.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Develop specialized knowledge in emerging industry segments (e.g., Alternative Fuels, Cruise Ships, MODUs) to advise commercial development and fleet performance teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Background: Seagoing experience in the Coast Guard (as an officer, rating, or cadet), Navy, or merchant marine; OR experience as a USCG Marine Inspector / PSC Officer or class society surveyor.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Working knowledge of international maritime law, conventions, and regulations, specifically SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, and MLC.
  • Specialized Training: Previous certification, training, or hands-on experience as an Inspector, Auditor, and/or Marine Casualty Investigator is highly preferred.
  • Operational Readiness: Must be physically able to board vessels at sea and in port, occasionally in adverse weather conditions. Must be able to lift 25–30 lbs.
