What You Will Do:
As a Nursing Practice and Professional Development Specialist (NP&PDS), you would be responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and activities in support of our Nurse Residency Program, which is accredited through ANCC. This includes providing professional, emotional, and didactic support, mentorship, and resources to our new graduate nurses through their first year with Hopkins.
This NP&PDS will support the clinical and professional transition to practice of our new graduate nurses with opportunities to support various nursing departments in additional educational initiatives, along with several other NP&PDS's. These roles cover our nurse residents at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, and our Keswick location.

Who Should Apply:
- Master's degree from an accredited school of nursing, or BSN w/MSN graduation pending soon
- Current registered nurse licensure in the state of Maryland at time of hire
- Active BLS CPR certification
- 5 years of nursing experience. Minimum of three years of nursing experience in an acute care setting
- The ideal candidate will have an experience in an academic hospital and experience in precepting, mentorship, and nursing education.

Hopkins Nurses Making a Difference
Salary Range: Minimum 46.57/hour - Maximum 72.18/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
