<div class="p-rich_text_section">We Work Remotely, the world’s largest remote work community, is looking for an experienced <strong>SEO Specialist</strong> to join our team on a <strong>3-month contract</strong> to help us elevate our organic growth strategy and drive measurable results.<br />What You’ll Do:</div> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested"> <li>Conduct a full technical audit of our website and implement key fixes (Core Web Vitals, site structure, crawlability, etc.)</li> <li>Develop and execute an SEO strategy focused on both employers and job seekers</li> <li>Identify and optimize for high-intent keywords related to remote work, hiring, and job search</li> <li>Perform content audits and provide optimization guidance across our blog and landing pages</li> <li>Analyze traffic and ranking performance using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, or SEMrush</li> <li>Create a reporting system to track progress, KPIs, and actionable next steps</li> <li>Collaborate with the marketing team to align SEO with campaigns and content strategy</li> </ul> <div class="p-rich_text_section">You Should Have:</div> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested"> <li>3+ years of proven experience in SEO (strategy, on-page, technical, and content)</li> <li>Strong knowledge of keyword research, site architecture, internal linking, and performance optimization</li> <li>Familiarity with SEO tools (Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GSC, etc.)</li> <li>Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and translate data into actions</li> <li>Bonus: Experience working with marketplaces or job platforms</li> </ul> <div class="p-rich_text_section">Contract Details:</div> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested"> <li>Duration: 3 months, with potential to extend</li> <li>Estimated weekly commitment: 20–30 hours/week</li> <li>Competitive hourly or project-based rate, depending on experience</li> </ul> <hr class="lis-container__job__content__description__hr">
