<h1>Senior Account Executive</h1><p><strong>Application Deadline: </strong>12 June 2026</p><p><strong>Department: </strong>Business Support</p><p><strong>Employment Type: </strong>Permanent - Full Time</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Home United States</p><p><strong>Reporting To: </strong>Christopher Russin</p><br><br><h3>Description</h3><div>This position is responsible for the day to day management of an increasingly complex portfolio of captive insurance clients, including risk retention groups, insurance reciprocal exchanges and/or other complex structures, the number of which varies depending on complexity of the accounts, as well as serving as a mentor and resource to Staff Accountants. <br><br>The Senior Account Executive will demonstrate ability to work independently, present financial statements at board meetings, serve as a mentor and resource to staff, as well as ability to train and lead. Assist company by adhering to and maintaining standards in accordance with ISMS policy and procedure.<br><br>
</div><br><br><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul>
<li>Responsible for the delivery of high-quality service, ensuring that all client service standards are met for portfolio of captive clients</li>
<li>Responsible for adherence to established regulatory, company and client timelines and deadlines</li>
<li>Responsible for following established guidelines, checklists and procedures, ensuring that managed companies remain compliant and internal controls are followed. </li>
<li>Responsible for enforcing said guidelines, checklists and procedures with managed staff</li>
<li>Supervise, train, mentor and serve as a resource to Staff Accountants</li>
<li>Preparation of periodic financial statement packages tailored to individual client needs and completion of self-review</li>
<li>Preparation of quarterly and annual NAIC statements</li>
<li>Preparation of written analysis of financial statements</li>
<li>Planning and coordination of annual audit and actuarial review</li>
<li>Maintain up to date knowledge of accounting, insurance and regulatory issues affecting captives</li>
</ul><br><br><h3>Skills, Knowledge & Expertise</h3><ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree or higher with a concentration in Accounting or relevant equivalent experience</li>
<li>CPA or CPA candidate</li>
<li>5 – 10 years of general accounting knowledge</li>
<li>Achievement of Associate in Captive Insurance or similar designation</li>
<li>Up to date knowledge of GAAP and insurance accounting principles</li>
<li>Accounting research capability</li>
<li>5 years statutory or alternative market insurance account experience</li>
<li>Advanced proficiency in software (Word, Excel, Outlook and QuickBooks)</li>
