Female Caregiver Needed - 12-Hour Shifts (Thurs-Sun) | Engaged, Detail-Oriented | Cat-Friendly Home

We are hiring an experienced female caregiver for a long-term client who values engagement, conversation, and connection-along with consistency and attention to detail. This is a 12-hour shift case (Thursday-Sunday) and is best suited for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with their client while also respecting routines and preferences.

This is not a "sit quietly on your phone" role. The client wants a caregiver who is present, interactive, and comfortable talking, hanging out, and being involved in the day.

Schedule
  • 12-hour shifts - 7 am to 7 pm

  • Thursday through Sunday

  • Consistent, recurring schedule

This Role Is a Good Fit If You:
  • Enjoy talking, engaging, and spending time with your client

  • Are present and attentive (minimal phone use during shifts)

  • Pay close attention to details and routines

  • Are comfortable with a client who is particular and direct

  • Can follow a detailed care plan while understanding the why behind it

  • Have thick skin and don't take feedback personally

  • Take pride in doing things the right way, consistently

Client & Home Environment
  • Client is cognitively intact and communicative

  • Enjoys conversation and engagement throughout the day

  • Must love cats (multiple cats in the home)

  • Pet safety is critical (no chemicals left out, awareness of environment at all times)

  • Calm, private household

Responsibilities
  • Personal care assistance (hygiene, comfort, routine support)

  • Meaningful engagement and companionship throughout the shift

  • Environmental care (light cleaning, organization, safety checks)

  • Strict adherence to a very detailed care plan

  • Completing tasks proactively without repeated reminders

  • Clear communication with the care team about preferences or changes

Important to Know (Please Read)
  • This is not a passive companion role.

  • Phone use should be minimal and limited to emergencies or care-related needs.

  • The client is particular and prefers things done his way-this is about consistency, not control.

  • This role is not a good fit for caregivers who:

    • Prefer lots of downtime or screen time

    • Struggle with direct feedback

    • Get flustered by detailed expectations

Requirements
  • Female caregiver only

  • Must have a personal vehicle to run errands in
  • Prior professional caregiving experience required

  • Comfortable with 12-hour shifts

  • Comfortable working in a home with multiple cats

  • Strong attention to detail and reliability

  • Professional, warm communication style

If you're a caregiver who:

  • Likes to stay engaged and involved

  • Enjoys building rapport with clients

  • Understands that structure and personality can coexist

...this can be a very stable and rewarding case.

Apply today and tell us why this type of case is a good fit for you.
