We are seeking a motivated and experienced Skilled Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in executing various construction projects by performing hands-on tasks that require technical skill, precision, and efficiency. Duties
Assist with the installation of structural elements such as framing, drywall, roofing, and flooring using hand tools and power tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation, excavation, or material handling as needed.
Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work to contribute to durable and high-quality structures.
Conduct construction inspection tasks to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
Support carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and framing.
Assist with plumbing and electrical installations by following schematics and technical instructions.
Handle fabrication tasks such as stucco application, caulking, plastering, and glass installation to enhance building aesthetics.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite by managing materials and disposing of debris properly.
Operate power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols on-site.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction site work with a strong understanding of construction processes and safety practices.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings essential for precise execution.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety procedures.
Knowledge of multiple trades including carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, and finishing techniques such as tile laying or flooring installation is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working at heights or in confined spaces.
Valid certifications or training related to construction safety (such as OSHA) is preferred but not required.
