<div><p class="MsoNormal">COLSA is looking for an experienced <strong>Scrum Master</strong> to support the modernization and transformation of NASA’s Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) and the broader portfolio of enterprise business and data services. This role is essential in enabling high<span class="msoIns"><ins cite="mailto:Harr,%20James%20C.%20(MSFC-IS61)[NCAPS]" datetime="2026-06-03T15:25"> </ins></span>performing Agile teams, accelerating delivery, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across mission critical data programs.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The ideal candidate brings strong servant leadership skills, excels in facilitating cross functional collaboration, and is comfortable navigating complex technical and organizational environments. The Scrum Master will help ensure that teams operate smoothly, impediments are removed quickly, and delivery outcomes align to NASA stakeholders’ strategic data objectives.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><u>Responsibilities: </u></strong></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (daily stand ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives) for multiple Enterprise Data scrum teams.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Partner with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is well‑defined, prioritized, and aligned with NASA data platform goals.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Remove team impediments rapidly, escalating blockers when necessary to maintain sprint commitments.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Safeguard the team by maintaining focus on sprint goals and minimizing outside disruptions.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Track, maintain, and communicate team performance metrics such as velocity, burndown, and capacity planning.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Provide status on Enterprise Data execution to various stakeholders, both on the customer side and internal to the program.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile best practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and scaled Agile concepts. Promote the adoption of modern Agile tooling and automation where beneficial.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Translate business requirements into functional specifications for configuration, development, and reporting.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Support coordination across EDP functional, technical, data governance, and cybersecurity teams.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Encourage continuous improvement through regular retrospectives and action focused follow ups.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Facilitate cross team dependencies, especially around data ingestion, pipeline development, cloud architecture, and integration with EDP services.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;">Assist teams in developing clear documentation including process flows, working agreements, definitions of done, and sprint artifacts.</li>
