We are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about making an impact in the company and the community. <strong>Apply now </strong>and become part of the dynamic energy industry!<br><br><strong><strong>Position Description<br><br></strong></strong>Analyzes the revenue requirement needs of regulated utility affiliates of UniSource Energy.<br><br><strong><strong>Position-Related Responsibilities<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>Prepares analyses of current and forecasted revenue requirements on a total company basis for Tucson Electric Power Company, UNS Gas and UNS Electric</li><li>Works with other employees and outside consultants to determine revenue requirements on a state and federal jurisdictional basis, as well as an unbundled functional basis (e.g., generation, transmission and distribution).</li><li>Prepares expert testimony and policy briefings for use in administrative rate proceedings, and provides other support as necessary to ensure a positive regulatory result.</li><li>Prepares regulatory reports pertaining to revenue requirements and energy cost recovery mechanisms</li><li>Provide analysis to other work groups and departments needing assistance on matters related to revenue requirements and rate regulation.</li><li>This position may provide services to affiliates of the Company subject to the UNS Energy Code of Conduct and the related Policies and Procedures.<br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities<br><br></strong></strong>(Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.)<br><br><strong>I<br><br></strong><strong>Minimum Qualifications:<br><br></strong>High school diploma or GED<br><br>Requires bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or closely related field<br><br>Financial modeling skills with experience using Excel and other financial software products<br><br>Knowledge of financial and regulatory accounting principles, cost allocation methodologies and utility rate-making principles<br><br>Working knowledge of tax accounting, corporate finance and investment theory<br><br>Able to work independently or as a team member<br><br>Strong written and verbal communication skills<br><br>Requires no previous experience in a related field.<br><br><strong>II<br><br></strong><strong>Minimum Qualifications:<br><br></strong>Requires a minimum 1-2 years of experience as a regulatory analyst or analyst in a closely related field.
