Job Responsibilities: - Lead the engineering automation and orchestration of cloud tools and technologies - Guide junior developers in designing and building technical solutions on cloud - Contribute to planning, designing, and development of cloud-based applications - Maintain close communication with project owners and stakeholders to determine the needs for new initiatives - Share your expertise and assist in building scalable, distributed, and high-performance computing cloud-based platform solutions - Collaborate with solutions architects to install configuration, maintain and support applications in public cloud environments - Deploy and debug cloud initiatives as per development best practices throughout the SDLC Job Requirements: - Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience) - At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Cloud engineer (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers) - Solid understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, Networking, Building environments, and Kubernetes - Experience in SRE with the ability to guide others to a more observable system - Demonstrable experience building release engineering tools and practices to ensure low MTTR - Profound understanding of large-scale distributed systems, including multi-tier architectures, application security, monitoring, and storage systems - Prior experience in building on AWS products and infrastructure - Experience with software engineering, scripting, automation, and orchestration tools - Proficient understanding of PowerShell, Ansible, GitHub, Terraform, etc. - Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers and clients more effectively - Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) and a 4 hour overlap with US time zone Preferred Skills: - Experience with virtual/cloud infrastructure and public and private Cloud technologies - Comprehensive knowledge of Golang code, testing, and production aspects - Experience in Kubernetes microservices and networking - Basic ideas of AWS RDS, Aurora, and Postgres database administration - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proven ability to manage a team and mentor junior engineers What we offer: - Elite U.S. Jobs - Long-term, full-time opportunities - Flexibility to work from anywhere in the world - Better compensation - Career growth - Exclusive Developer Community - Upskilling workshops - Career development sessions - Networking meetups - Referral programs Once you join Turing, you'll never have to apply for another job!
