Photo Editor and Researcher

<p>Salt Talent Search is looking for a Photo Researcher Editor for a 3 months extendable contract role. The ideal candidate should have deep photo research background and an affinity for visual storytelling to join our creative team and support editorial photography</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Research, curation and licensing of visual assets for imagery requests across Media Products platforms, and across both EMEA and APAC.</li><li>Proactively identifies and resolves creative and production challenges, maintaining efficiency in fast-paced environments</li><li>Ability to effectively manage expectations, when necessary.</li><li>Handle seasonal budgets and fee negotiations with external agencies and artists.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Outstanding in tracking as well as archival of assets, budgets, licenses and fee negotiations with external agencies and artists.</li><li>Briefing, art directing retouching to ensure that retouched assets are done to high standards.</li><li>Play an active role in contributing to the team’s collaborators pool by identifying photo houses, photographers and image sources to partner with for specific projects.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Key Qualifications</p><ul><li>A deep understanding, experience and passion for visual storytelling</li><li>5+ years relevant photo editing, multimedia production experience or art directing in a creatively driven environment including advertising, publishing, magazines, entertainment studios, or creative agencies that serve those industries</li><li>Broad knowledge of photographers across many genres including portraiture, fashion, sports, documentary, conceptual, fine art and more</li><li>Familiarity with all forms/types of sources for existing photography including boutique syndication agencies, wires, stock houses, galleries and estates</li><li>Knowledge of image rights, likeness restrictions, contract negotiation and legal clearance processes for licensed content</li><li>Clear and concise communicator</li><li>Thorough, detailed, responsible and highly organized</li></ul><p><br></p><p>CEI No: R1763696 | Licence No: 07C3147</p>
