Vibe is an energetic and innovative Venture Capital firm located in an impressive 5,000 square foot office space in the heart of San Francisco. Known for blending technology, innovation, and community, Vibe creates a dynamic and collaborative workspace where startups, investors, and founders come together to foster growth and creativity. The firm thrives on a culture of energy, inclusivity, and forward-thinking, constantly seeking ways to support the thriving San Francisco tech ecosystem. Employees at Vibe benefit from exposure to the venture capital landscape and have opportunities to build networks within one of the world’s leading tech hubs. We are currently looking for a vibrant and detail-oriented Office and Event Coordinator to join our team. This is a unique role where you will be at the center of our lively office environment, balancing operational tasks with exciting event coordination responsibilities. Half of your time will be dedicated to ensuring the smooth functioning of our office, welcoming guests, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining the aesthetics and functionality of our workspace. The other half will involve orchestrating a variety of events ranging from intimate founder dinners to highly engaging demo days and networking mixers, which are crucial in building community and connecting stakeholders in the tech scene. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality and tech culture, bringing energy and a people-first approach that aligns with our firm’s values. This position requires a blend of interpersonal skills, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. The Office and Event Coordinator will serve as the welcoming face of our space, ensuring founders, investors, and visitors feel at home from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities also include managing all vendor interactions such as catering, snacks, and supplies, making sure our office environment supports both daily work and special events. On the event side, you will be responsible for overseeing all event logistics, including managing invitations and RSVPs, coordinating AV and technology setups, liaising with local catering providers, and serving as the onsite point person to ensure each event runs without glitches. As a culture champion, you will infuse a youthful and dynamic energy throughout the office, collaborating on innovative ideas to enhance the physical space so that it becomes a hub for the San Francisco tech community. This role also involves assisting partners with administrative tasks, managing conference room bookings, and greeting guests with a hospitality-driven mindset. Candidates should be high-energy individuals who enjoy meeting new people and possess a 'no task too small' attitude. An obsessive attention to detail is essential, whether it's ensuring the coffee station is well stocked or that event signage is perfectly positioned. Adaptability is key as working in a startup environment means priorities and plans can shift rapidly. Comfort with modern digital tools such as Slack, G-Suite, and event platforms like Eventbrite or Luma is important, as is the capacity to troubleshoot basic office technology issues. We welcome candidates with one to three years of experience in hospitality, event planning, or office coordination, placing strong value on personality and potential over the length of a resume. Joining Vibe offers not only a vibrant working environment in a prime San Francisco location but also direct exposure to the fast-paced venture capital and startup ecosystem. This is a wonderful opportunity to build personal and professional networks within the technology industry and contribute to a culture that celebrates innovation and community. If you are ready to be the driving force behind a buzzing tech hub and bring your energy to a passionate team, we want to hear from you.
