This role supports the claims team by troubleshooting health insurance claim issues, handling escalated inquiries from the call center, and assisting with out-of-state provider conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Troubleshoot and resolve claim-related issues

+ Handle escalated questions from internal teams and external partners

+ Communicate through real-time internal and external chat channels

+ Perform task-based training, gradually taking on additional responsibilities

Requirements:

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to learn quickly and ask for help when needed

+ No prior health insurance experience required

+ Problem-solving skills and comfort with computer-based work

+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Schedule & Work Environment:

+ Monday-Friday, mostly 7:30 AM-4:00 PM

+ Weekly team meeting Wednesdays at 7:00 AM

+ On-site in Honolulu; remote work may be offered a few days per week based on performance

+ Training is structured by task progression

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
