( Fastwater Staffing ) MBSE Consultant — Model-Based Systems Engineering | Fully Remote

<h3><strong>Role Overview</strong></h3> <p>We are seeking an experienced MBSE Consultant to support complex space systems engineering programs. The ideal candidate will contribute to model-based design, system architecture development, and satellite operations support, particularly within early mission phases.</p> <h3><strong>Non-Negotiable Requirements (Must Have BOTH)</strong></h3> <p>Candidates <strong>must have strong experience in both areas below</strong>:</p> <h4><strong>1. Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)</strong></h4> <ul> <li> Strong expertise in <strong>SysML</strong> </li> <li> Hands-on experience with <strong>Cameo Systems Modeler</strong> </li> <li> Experience with <strong>functional decomposition</strong> </li> <li> Strong understanding of <strong>requirements traceability</strong> </li> <li> Ability to develop and manage system models across lifecycle stages </li> </ul> <h4><strong>2. LEOP Experience (Launch & Early Orbit Phase)</strong></h4> <ul> <li> Direct experience in <strong>Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP) operations</strong> </li> <li> Experience in <strong>satellite commissioning and/or routine satellite operations</strong> </li> <li> Familiarity with mission-critical operational environments and procedures</li></ul>
