Commercial Fishing Boat Crew Member

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and responsible Commercial Fishing Boat Crew member to work in fishing operations on our vessel. The ideal candidate will possess experience doing physical labor, mechanical knowledge, and a background on a commercial fishing boat is a bonus. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of daily fishing activities, ensuring safety, and listening and executing tasks assigned by the captain. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on sustainable fishing practices and team work.

Duties

• Help operate the fishing vessel safely during all phases of fishing expeditions.
• Help fellow crew members ensure efficient workflow onboard.
• Help with rigging operations, including setting nets, traps, or other fishing gear.
• Assist the Captain to conduct routine maintenance and mechanical inspections of the vessel’s equipment and systems.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of catch to preserve quality.
• Consistently communicate with the boat Captain about trips, catch and logistics.

Experience

• Prior experience in commercial fishing operations is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,500.00 - $4,000.00 per week
