3D Character Artist – Unreal Engine

Job Description • Full-cycle development of high-quality 3D characters and animals — from sculpting to final optimization and engine integration • Preparing models for animation • Optimizing models according to real-time project requirements • Integration and setup of characters in Unreal Engine • Collaboration with animators and technical teams Requirements • 5+ years of experience as a 3D Character Artist • Proficiency with core tools ZBrush, Maya/Blender, Substance Painter, Marmoset Toolbag, Photoshop • Experience working with Unreal Engine • Strong understanding of anatomy (including animals) • Experience creating and optimizing models for real-time projects • Understanding of the full production pipeline from high-poly sculpting to low-poly, retopology, UV mapping, PBR texturing • Experience preparing models for animation • English level Intermediate or higher (for teamwork and communication) • Experience with hair creation and grooming (e.g., XGen) • Experience creating game-ready animals through the full pipeline • Experience with MetaHuman (creation, setup, and customization) • Experience working on realistic projects or simulations • Understanding of rigging and animation pipeline requirements • Nice to Have Experience with Unity • Experience as a versatile 3D artist — creating environments, props, vehicles, and hard-surface assets in addition to characters • Basic understanding of blendshapes (morph targets) and facial animation • Experience with Marvelous Designer (clothing) Benefits • We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees through a comprehensive Benefits Program. • This includes unlimited Flexible Time Off and a personalized career roadmap for each employee. • By investing in professional development through training and educational opportunities, we ensure that our team thrives both personally and professionally.
